Our Fall “Cities” Exhibit marked the start of our 5th year of NuVu! The 2-hour event had around 175 people in attendance who eagerly watched 20 project presentations that included product demos, film premiers, and live game demos. During the Fall term, our students teamed up with doctors, engineers, designers, filmmakers, architects, roboticists and hackers to come up with creative solutions for problems related to cities. Students hacked into the wheelchair and designed useful add-ons to a traditional wheelchair, created a proposal to help with Boston's bid for the 2024 Olympics, designed Fantasy Fashion-Tech garments that bring nature-based themes into urban wear, created products for the homeless population in the city, and produced short animated videos that envision the future of cities with driverless, autonomous cars. It was a great start to the new year!
