Re-Entry Housing Tiny Home Studio

No items found.

NuVu students spent multiple studios working to design architectural structures for our client June Lee's vision of a tiny home community. This community will be built for formerly incarcerated individuals re-entering society. Her design was selected by the city of Oakland as a City Challenge winner. The students spent weeks developing skills in interviewing, architecture, design empathy, human-centered design, digital renders and Revit. The students were able to present their final architectural designs for an entire community to June at the end of the studio.
